Park in Avilés 

This parking area has a total of 5 spots, with a maximum authorized stay of 48 hours. One of the key advantages of this space its proximity to the historic center, only 600 meters approximately. We highly recommend visiting the Niemeyer Cultural Centre, the palaces of Camposagrado and Valdecarzana, and the church of Sabugo.

Park in Boal 

Boal received the award of Pueblo Ejemploar de Asturias in 2014, the award is given to those villages that have stood out in the defense and conservation of its natural, environmental, historical, cultural, or artistic heritage. So as you can imagine the visitor will not be disappointed. The motorhome area has a total of 5 parking spots and a maximum authorized stay of 72 hours.

Park in Cangas del Narcea 

If you read our previous blog post about the top ten best 2019 villages in Spain, you will remember that Cangas del Narcea was among them. So of course that this little town will be mentioned again. The free parking of this town has two spots reserved for motorhomes, however, parking on the remaining spots is also allowed.

The motorhome area of Colombre is located in the parking of the hotel Casa Junco. The overnight stay and the services are free, but we recommend going to the café or restaurant as a way of thanking the owners. Apart from this we highly recommend you to visit the beach of La Franca and the prehistoric caves of El Pindal and el Indiano Museum.

Grao’s free motorhome parking has a total of 8 spots, and the maximum authorized stay is 72 hours. One key thing about this parking is that is located just beside the local police station, and approximately 700 meters away from the city center.

Llano has one of the biggest motorhome parking in Asturias, with a total of 30 spots, and an enviable location to enjoy nature in its purest form.

Our next stop is Infiesto which has a free parking area with a total of 5 spots reserved for motorhomes. However, remember that the maximum authorized stay is 72 hours and that deploying any camping elements is forbidden.

The free parking area of the Eco-Museum of Lamuño has a total of 11 parking spots available, free water change. We cannot recommend enough the visit to the museum, since it will allow you to get to know the history and work in a real mine.

This parking area has 4 spots reserved exclusively for motorhomes. Also just a few meters from the area we can find the local train and bus stations, that will get you to Oviedo city center in less than 15 min.

Mieres has a free parking area with a total of 5 spots. Apart from that, we recommend visiting Santa Cristina de Lena which is approximately 15 km away from the parking.

In Navia, the visitor can find free parking with a total of 10 spots, and a maximum authorized stay of 72 hours. If you decide to visit this part of Asturias the visits to the Historical Park of Navia, the “Castro de Coaña” or the coastal path of Barayo-Navia are a total must.

Park in Oviedo 

The capital of Asturias has a motorhome area with a total of 16 parking spots, a maximum authorized stay of 72 hours. Even though it’s not located in the city center, there is a bus stop about 150 meters from the area that will get you to the city center. If you want to truly get the essence of this city, we cannot recommend enough the cathedral complex, the old town, and the monuments of its pre-Romanesque heritage like Santa María del Naranco, San Miguel de Lillo, and San Juan de Nieva.
